MEET THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Pavani Rangachari, Ph.D., CPH
Pavani Rangachari’s interest and expertise are in health services research with an emphasis on the implementation of change and innovation in healthcare organizations. She has worked in collaboration with healthcare leaders and providers to understand factors associated with successful implementation of evidence-based infection prevention practices in hospital intensive care units and the meaningful use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology across inpatient and outpatient units in health systems.
Over the course of her academic career, Dr. Rangachari has received R03 and R21 research grants as Principal Investigator from the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and has published several primary-authored articles in the fields of healthcare management, leadership, health informatics, and public health. Her scholarship has contributed towards the 1) identification of evidence-based management strategies for successful innovation implementation in healthcare organizations and 2) development of policy implications for enabling consistent implementation of evidence-based and patient-centered care practices to promote population health. Her research projects have also contributed towards improving healthcare practices and outcomes at her study institutions.

YALE NEW HAVEN HEALTH COHORT PROGRAM
Employees of Yale New Haven Health System are eligible to participate in a cohort-based MHA program. Main features of this program include:
- A part-time program designed for working professionals
- Students complete the program as a cohort with the same schedule over a 2.5 year period
- Classes held in the evenings one night per week
- Courses are offered in a remote and fully online format, offering maximum convenience
- Students complete their capstone projects related to local health systems
- 2022-23 tuition: $773 per credit
